Mandatory Receiver Frequency Update

Immarsat, the organization which provides satellite bandwidth to broadcast StarFire differential corrections will be migrating frequencies on all six of their satellites. This frequency change by Immarsat will affect all customers with John Deere and non-Deere receivers. Your GPS Receivers will not function after March 23rd without a frequency update.

Barker Implement is prepared to assist customers with this update. For $100 we will update each receiver and make sure you are prepared for spring field work. If you have a Barker AMS Support Agreement this update will be free of charge as this level of service is included in the normal AMS Support Agreement.

For non-contract holders you still have the opportunity to purchase a 2012 AMS Support Agreement and take advantage of these services which would include the GPS receiver frequency update.

Please contact your AMS Specialist to schedule the update or for more information on AMS Support Agreements. Trip charges are not included in the $100 update.
